Can I shower with these earrings on?
Yes. Medical gold is water resistant, so a short shower will not harm it. We do recommend taking the jewellery off before using soap, shampoo or gel: cosmetics dull the coating over time.
Will I get an allergy if I have sensitive ears?
Medical gold is hypoallergenic and contains no nickel, the most common cause of irritation. That is why our earrings work well for sensitive ears. If you have a strong metal allergy, write to us before buying.
How long does the gold colour last?
With proper care the colour lasts for years. Keep the jewellery in a dry place, in a Markiza pouch or box, protect it from perfume and creams, and wipe it with a soft cloth after wearing.
Can I swim in a pool with this jewellery?
It is better to take the jewellery off before the pool. Chlorine and salt water wear the coating down faster. If the jewellery has been in such water, rinse it with clean water and dry it thoroughly.
